Energy Panel -
“I’d put my money on the sun and solar energy what a source of power! I hope we don’t have to wait until oil and coal run out before we tackle that”.
Thomas Edison, 1931.
Photovoltaic Solar Panels
Contrary to popular belief, a Photovoltaic Solar system does not necessarily need bright sunlight in order to operate successfully, an correctly engineered system will continue to generate electricity even on cloudy days.
Renewable Energy Specialist
There are a number of different types of Photovoltaic Panels generating modules available on the market today, some are proven in the field over many years, while many are quite new and are therefore not.
The different types of photovoltaic materials include;
monocrystalline silicon
polycrystalline silicon
amorphous silicon
cadmium telluride (CDTe)
copper indium gallium selenide/sulphide (CIGS).
While the efficiency levels of amorphous silicon, CDTe and CIGS are fast improving; Crystalline Solar PV panels having being in existence for over 40 years, they are the original of the species, well proven and stable workhorses and still the forerunners as regards efficiency and output per m2.
Energy Panel has all types of Photovoltaic Panels offering a full range of crystalline PV modules both monocrystalline and polycrystalline.
Established in 2001, Energy Panel LTD, suppliers of Thermodynamic Solar Panels Ireland, are based in Castleblayney Co Monaghan. Having 15 years experience in the heating and plumbing industry. We have completed many large scale and many smaller scale projects for hundreds of clients.
